ZANU PF National Political Commissar Cde Victor Matemadanda has dared the MDC to be part of the ZANU PF Chiredzi by-election launch in order to prove that ZANU PF is a people’s Party.
This dare follows the continued victory spell which the ZANU PF Party is registering. The recent is that of the Chimanimani Rural District Council Ward 16 by-election in which ZANU PF won with 1 587 votes while the MDC-Alliance had 226 votes as well as the Ward 17 Mangwe by-election where ZANU PF registered 313 votes against the MDC Alliance’s 201.
Cde Matemadanda said the MDC spies should come and see for themselves how numbers do not lie.
“We launch the Chiredzi by-election on Thursday and invite the MDC spies to come and see the numbers which are a clear indication that the MDC would have already lost the election,” Cde Matemadanda said.
“This winning trend kills the narrative by MDC Alliance President Nelson Chamisa that he was robbed of the last Presidential Election. How does he win an election by numbers that vote against him? Victory is for the winning side. MDC is always making noise and forget the people who are the ultimate deciders but the ZANU PF Party does not forget them.
“I see the ZANU PF Party rising because we are striving to deal with the economic hardships demoralizing people and these will be cleared soon, then the MDC will forget about the 2023 elections. The MDC is losing popularity with the people because it is a one person Party. The MDC worries about Chamisa going to State House but State House is a destination for winners not losers. Chamisa has destroyed the MDC and left it worse than when Morgan Tsvangirai was alive.”
