The Constitutional Amendment No. 3 Bill has recorded a decisive outcome in the National Assembly, with 216 Members of Parliament voting in support of the legislation and 42 voting against it.

The voting process follows extensive clause-by-clause deliberations within Parliament of Zimbabwe, on the scope and implications of the Bill.

Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ziyambi Ziyambi has guided the Bill through its stages in the National Assembly.
