Mashonaland West Provincial Chairman for the Youth League Cde Vengai Musengi has urged the various Provinces to continue heeding to the call by the President and First Secretary of ZANU PF Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa, to stay at home.
Zimbabwe currently has nine cases of the Corona Virus (COVID19) which continues to kill thousands across the world.
Speaking during day 5 of the 21 days of national lockdown, Cde Musengi said heeding to the directive of the President Mnangagwa, will help them to stay alive.
“Let us continue to adhere to the call by our President Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa to stay at home so that we safeguard our lives and that of our families and friends,” Cde Musengi said.
“I encourage other Provincial Chairpersons to cascade this message to their people all over the country, encouraging them to hold on because 21 days is not long a period, it will come to pass. Corona Virus also known as COVID19 is a disease that came without notice but if we adhere to the rules and regulations given by our President and his government, we will overcome this disease.”
