ZANU PF Mashonaland West Provincial Chairman Cde Ziyambi Ziyambi has urged the Party leadership to take heed and totally uproot the G40 cabal from the party ranks, saying these elements were abusing President Mnangagwa`s mercy and were dividing Party structures and sabotaging Government programs.
Addressing the Provincial Coordinating Committee meeting in Chinhoyi on Sunday, Cde Ziyambi highlighted that they were some people resisting the new dispensation and will not change but have turned into saboteurs, hence overstaying their welcome.
“Pane vanhu vakaregererwa vasina kukumbira ruregerero, they are now causing problems, they don’t want to reform, they remain with G40 ideologies and movements, so before they cause much harm, let’s totally uproot them from our structures, “said Cde Ziyambi.
“We have top civil servants who are sabotaging the Government and they are known, they are going against the thrust of President Mnangagwa, they don’t want to shape into the new dispensation's ideologies. Be warned, better resign and we put those who want to work,” he added.
He alluded that the G40 members wanted to turn the provinces into their base, but they failed as the party reigned supreme in the backyard of the former President, in Zvimba where it won every parliamentary seat with President Mnangagwa emerging the most popular person in the area.
