BAAS GRATEFUL TO SADC

Broad Alliance Against Sanctions(BAAS) has expressed its gratitude to the Southern African Development Community (SADC) for its solidarity and its continued resolve with the people of Zimbabwe against the illegal sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe. In a press release the BAAS said the impact of these illegal sanctions is no longer felt in Zimbabwe alone, but across the entire SADC block and African continent. "We express our gratitude to Africa and particularly SADC for standing with us in this fight. Thank you to all SADC Heads of States not forgetting our own President His Excellency Cde. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa for the engagement and re- ngagement efforts with the international community," the Statement said. "To that end BAAS will also hold a peaceful antisanctions March at the American Embassy in Westgate, Harare on 25 October 2020. The March starts at 1000hrs to 1200hrs." BAAS added that they "will continue to amplify voices and mount pressure on the United States to unconditionally remove these economic embargoes."
