Zimbabweans must not be misled by some negative sentiments being spearheaded by some unruly elements on social media especially the opposition leadership to ignore government’s lock-down directive for 21days in order to curb the spread of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic. A snap survey carried out by this reporter shows that high profile opposition and government detractors are personally and clandestinely complying with the directive by His Excellency, President ED Mnangagwa to close their businesses for 21days for their safety as well as combating the spread of the virus. Personally the MDC leader is said to have closed his business in compliance with the Head of State and Government’s call. The move by a known opponent of the President to close notably his hyper activity Chamisa butchery in Chitungwiza is commendable as it comes against attempts by renegade elements fronted by Jonathan Moyo to fool innocent citizens to resist the directive.  Political analyst, Mr Lancelot Goto said, this should give citizens a clear picture of the treacherous and hypocrite nature of these fly-by-night once upon a time politicians.On the wake of Covid-19 Zimbabweans must stay guided by President Mnangagwa's addresses to the nation, following and taking heed of his directives.
