ZANU PF Secretary General Cde Advocate Jacob Mudenda says, women have a responsibility to mentor, inspire and uplift other women and girls.
His remarks were made during the, ZANU PF Women’s League Meeting with Senior Female Civil Servants at the Party Headquarters this Friday.
"It is a privilege and a profound honour to address this distinguished gathering of Senior Female Civil Servants and leaders of the ZANU PF Women's League under the theme, "Harnessing the Collective Power of Women." This theme captures the transformative capacity that emerges when women unite around a shared vision, common purpose, and coordinated action in the context of national development. It recognises that women are active architects of governance, economic transformation, social stability, and community advancement," Cde Mudenda said.
"Your presence here today reflects the significant strides Zimbabwe has made in recognising the leadership capabilities and contribution of women in public administration, politics and national development. As senior female civil servants and Women's League leaders, you occupy positions of strategic influence within the Party, Government, communities and national institutions. You carry the responsibility not only to execute your duties with professionalism, integrity and efficiency but also to mentor, inspire and uplift other women and young girls who look to uoi as symbols of possibilty, resilience and achievement. Theough your service, you continue to redefine the role of women in governance and demonstrate that women are central to policy implementation, institutional leadership and national economic transformation. "Under the leadership of His Excellency, President Cde Dr. E.D Mnangagwa, the Second Republic has accelerated the national agenda of women empowerment guided by the principle that No-one and no place must be left behind. Vision 2030 and its implementation vehicle, the National Development Strategy 2 NDS2, place inclusive development, gender equality, and women empowerment at the centre of Zimbabwe’s socio-economic transformation agenda."
Over 60 representatives from various companies and boards, among them, Traffic Safety Council of Zimbabwe, Rural Electrification Agency, Netone, NSSA, Infrastructure Development Bank of Zimbabwe, Printflow, Empower Bank and UDCORP amongst others.
