Zambia's Siavonga Member of Parliament Cde Darius Mulunda has showered praises at Johane the 5th of Africa International Church for bringing unity, peace and development within his Constituency.
The church which is originally from Zimbabwe and headquartered in Mutare, was founded by Archbishop Dr Andby Makururu. It has spread its wings into the SADC region and beyond preaching a message of hope, alleviating the plight of the ordinary peoples in the countries it is being found.
A recent visit to Siavonga revealed that the community members are more than pleased with the way the church is transforming their lives.
"A lot of people are being united by this church as it preaches a message of unity, peace and development. God is doing miracles through this church as well and we continue to collaborate and find ways of alleviating the plight of our people," said Cde Mulunda.
"I want to thank the J5 church for coming and spreading its wings to where we are because our challenges are now being addressed. The drug and substance abuse issue is being solved because of the campaigns that the church is conducting," said Cde Jane Chagadama.
Cde Jennifer Maila said, "I want to express my appreciation to the J5 church for coming to Zambia. The burdens we have, have become lighter. We are happier too."
Cde James Kaliangile disclosed that, "I was sick before and had been in and out of the hospital without change. When I heard about the church, I decided to come and the prophet only gave me anointing oil. There has been a lot of change since then. This is a hospital on its own. I am very excited to be able to see the church Founder, Archbishop Dr Andby Makururu and I will continue to pray (ndimphamvu) with power because I have seen the power of God through this man."
The church members have had opportunities such as loans, bursaries and projects availed to them to help improve their livelihoods.
Archbishop Makururu has thanked that country's leader, "His Excellency, President Hakainde Hichilema for allowing the church to flourish within Zambia."
