Johane the 5th of Africa International Church’s Gastronomy Hub has expressed satisfaction at showcasing their traditional cuisine at this year’s Sanganai/Hlanganani/Dzimbahwe World Tourism Expo in Masvingo Province.

Speaking at the Expo, National Chairperson for J5’s Church Forum in Africa Beswin Dindiko said this opportunity availed has placed the church on the international stage.

”We are very excited to be part of Sanganai 2026 which has given us an opportunity to meet tourists from different countries and exposure to cuisine from other countries,” she said.

“We came into gastronomy through the guidance of our leader, Archbishop Dr Andby Makururu who made us appreciate our culture and traditional food. We then participated in Her Excellency, The First Lady, Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa from the church level, district, Provincial where we were number one then the National where we came third in the religious category.

”We were this year invited to participate here at Sanganai through the Ministry of Tourism and Hospitality Industry. We want to thank the Minister for this opportunity and most importantly our Archbishop for the financial support and spiritual guidance as we move towards achieving Vision 2030.”
