We are behind the President in fighting Covid-19: Minister Muchinguri -Kashiri

 Minister of Defence and War Veterans, Cde OCZ Muchinguri-Kashiri has said as cabinet they will give the President maximum support in fighting Covid-19 through stimulating requisite action across all sectors.Giving a vote of thanks at the launch of the Covid-19 Response Plan at State House, she said the launch of the Covid-19 Response Plan is a further demonstration of government's commitment to fight the global pandemic.“We are going to ensure that no stone is left unturned in protecting the country from a possible devastation by Covid-19"‘’The timely declaration despite us not having registered any cases as yet is commendable and we will stimulate the requisite actions across all sectors be they, private, public, diplomatic, community as well as international and bilateral partners.Muchinguri-Kashiri who is also the Revolutionary Party's National Chairman thanked and commended President Mnangagwa for an outstanding demonstration of public health leadership not just in the face of Covid-19 but in infectious diseases control exemplified by the national clean-up and establishment of the cholera elimination roadmap.She also thanked the World Health Organisation for providing health standard guidelines in fighting Covid-19.On behalf of fellow cabinet ministers She also saluted President Mnangagwa for his visionary leadership and assured the President of concerted efforts in implementing all government programmes effectively.
