ZANU PF National Political Commissar Cde Munyaradzi Machacha has met affiliates to the ruling Party in a move aimed at stream-lining their activities.
Speaking during a meeting held at the Party headquarters this Tuesday, Cde Machacha said during this time all affiliates will have to prove their worth.
"We have brought you here to give you an opportunity to bid farewell to Dr Davison Gomo whom you have been working with for all this time. He has retired because of his age and we are happy with the work that he has been doing. We want to streamline our activities with what the affiliates are doing to each relevant Department. If your affiliate has something to do with mining, you will fall under the Mining Department. If you are in agriculture, you will fall under the Department of Lands. It is affiliates such as those of the religious sect that will fall directly under the Commissariat Department, " Cde Machacha said.
"We also want to identify the value that you are bringing to the Party in terms of numbers. Are you also positively publicizing the name of the Party? We want to have each affiliate promoting the work of the Party."
Affiliates attending the meeting include PastorsforED, HairdressersforED, NODE and CarExportersforED amongst others.
