Policy makers from the revolutionary ruling Party, ZANU PF have commended the Commissariat Department for a job well done in the recently held by-elections.
Speaking during the Policy and Coordination meeting, ZANU PF's Secretary General Cde Obert Mpofu thanked the Commissariat Department for the success registered.
"Several by-elections were carried out during the past weekend. Cde Zvarevashe Masvingize was elected to represent Gutu East Constituency in the National Assembly and Cde Delani Moyo won the Insiza North Constituency seat. Similarly, Munsaka Brian won the Binga RDC Ward 4 By-Election and Humbe Singatini won the Chipinge RDC Ward 5 By-election. We want to congratulate these comrades on their respective victories and the Commissariat Department for a job well done."
ZANU PF won with 9321 votes in Gutu East and 7171 votes in Insiza North Constituencies. In Ward 4 , Binga and Ward 5 in Chipinge, ZANU PF garnered 910 and 1748 votes respectively.
