Prayer Day goes national

THE National Prayer Day will from the beginning of next year be held in the country’s 10 provinces.

The National Prayer Day is the brainchild of the First Lady, Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa and brings together Christians from different denominations to intercede for Zimbabwe and its leaders.

Addressing stakeholders at State House who attended the National Prayer Day, Amai Mnangagwa urged Zimbabweans to pray for the country to help overcome some of the challenges it is facing.

“The next National Prayer Day will be held in the Provinces to ensure greater participation of the people. I urge the committee to quickly make preparations for the roll out. We as citizens should look up to the Lord for salvation as He is the source of life”.

Several Provincial Ministers of State joined the First Lady for the event.
