President and First Secretary of ZANU PF Cde E.D Mnangagwa has commended Party members for their loyalty to the Party despite the efforts by the enemy to ensure otherwise.
The bitter enemy has relentlessly used social media platforms to wreck havoc to ensure that the people of Zimbabwe lose trust in their government.
These social media reports have also misled some sister revolutionary Parties who have made efforts to find out if these reports are true.
Speaking during the Central Committee meeting at the Party Headquarters recently, President Mnangagwa said the efforts of self-preservation by Party members are commendable.
"I would like from the onset to commend the Party and Central Committee for ensuring that our membership remains steadfast and abreast with socio economic developments in our country. This was against a backdrop of multiple challenges we have faced," President Mnangagwa said.
"Furthermore our cadres are applauded for remaining loyal to their Party and its leadership. They have equally strived to continuously raised their level of political and social consciousness and understanding of Party policies, programmes and positions.
"This was against a background of falsehoods and malicious anti-Party and anti-Government propaganda campaigns by our detractors, peddled mainly through social media platforms.
"I, thus applaud the Party for remaining focused towards accelerating development of our great country. This spirit of unity, peace, harmony and hard work must continue to strengthen our resolve as an unwavering revolutionary Party."
The Party is in the process of a restructuring process that will ensure a landslide victory in the next elections.
