President Emmerson Mnangagwa has been saluted and honoured for championing Peace and social cohesion in Zimbabwe.

United Nations Women Executive Director, Ms Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka saluted President Emmerson Mnangagwa for his consistence in preaching the gospel of peace, unity and harmony in Zimbabwe while promoting social cohesion.
Director Mlambo-Ngcuka also commended President Mnangagwa for championing women's empowerment and supporting their participation in strategic and critical political positions.

In giving her solidarity message at the launch of the African Women Leaders Network Zimbabwe Chapter, Director Mlambo-Ngcuka said: "I would to take this opportunity to thank and commend President Mnangagwa for promoting peace and social cohesion in Zimbabwe and also for supporting gender equality."

The Zimbabwe Chapter on African Women Leaders Network was Launched by President Mnangagwa under the theme 'Peace and social cohesion for sustaining Zimbabwe's development.'

The platform was created to ensure that Zimbabwean women can meaningfully participate and influence the development of the nation.
Director Mlambo-Ngcuka also challenged women to be connected and lead differently for the betterment of the continent.

To oppose resolutely, tribalism, regionalism and forms of exploitation of man by man.
