In a move aimed at ensuring a resuscitation of failed attempts to overthrow the constitutionally elected government under the leadership of President and First Secretary Cde E.D Mnangagwa, three US Embassy in Harare officials met MDC officials at one of the safe houses in Mazowe to strategize on faking abductions.

Many efforts have been made to subvert the will of the people through a regime change agenda to reverse the Land Reform through weaponizing free space and freedoms that the New Dispensation has ushered in, through a cocktail of political reforms spearheaded by President Mnangagwa.

The recent attempts have witnessed the funding of the 31 July demos scheduled for today in which the US Embassy intended to pay out US$150 per participant.

This particular meeting intended to as usual spoil the image of the country on the Global stage. Among other concerns that arose at the meeting, were that the two previous stage managed abductions involving Joana Mamombe and two others as well as that of Dr Peter Magombeyi did not meet the required standards.

Team Pachedu, a faceless Twitter account and David Coltart have been tasked to do the Public Relations for these fake abductions tagging British, American and European Union diplomats. 12 journalists from private news rooms in Zimbabwe among five foreign correspondents also attended the meeting.

Under the arrangement, media houses who publish and provide convincing stories and reports on the planned fake abductions by way of breaking news headlines will be paid handsomely while each of the 12 journalists will be receiving a monthly allowance of US$1600, fuel and a daily itinerary and contingence of US$300.

Among the 12 journalists five of them work for to Voice of America and Studio 7, SABC, Mail and Guardian, eNCA and New Zimbabwe.com while the rest work for local opposition controlled media houses.
