ZANU PF National Political Commissar Cde Victor Matemadanda says it is delusional for the MDC to misinterpret the recent Malawi election outcome as this is a return to the revolutionary Party.
Speaking during a policy meeting held at the Party Headquarters this Monday, Cde Matemadanda congratulated the Malawians for remembering their history.
“It is unfortunate that the MDC congratulated Malawians for their election outcome. The Malawian people have reconnected with the Malawi Congress Party of their liberation. These opposition parties never win more than two elections. The foundations of Malawi are deeply rooted in the liberation struggle which is represented by the liberation Party MCP,” Cde Matemadanda said.
“It is the same with ZANU PF where we encourage people to realise our challenges and where they are coming from and what they are aimed to achieve so that we remain united to confront the enemy.
“We can use Malawi as an example that they have returned after wandering for many years. We actually thank the Zimbabwean people for refusing to be separated from the nerve system of their Party. Well done to the Malawians for remembering their history.”
