ZANU PF Secretary for Women Affairs Senator Mabel Chinomona says women feel buttressed by the motherly touch executed by First Lady Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa through the various income generating projects she facilitates to empower the vulnerable across the nation.
Giving her vote of thanks at the handover of the fish pond and over 1 500 harvested fish donated to the women by First Lady Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa in Harare, Senator Chinomona said the women of Zimbabwe feel gratified to be supported by such a caring mother who has rolled out a series of projects in support of the young and women.
“Our first lady has challenged us today that we can earn a living through fish farming as we witnessed today the handover ceremony of this lucrative fish pond to the women.
“We feel comforted by your speech and character Amai, in which you implore us to love one another as women, love for our children and love our nation. We are seeing you also doing a lot for the disadvantaged and elderly which shows your leading role in extending love to all Zimbabweans,” said Senator Chinomona.
“We are going to put more effort in complementing your efforts Amai to this project of fish farming and make sure as women of Zimbabwe, we supply our children with good recipes we benefited from your guidance as our First Lady.”
Senator Chinomona also advised those who benefited from the training programme to extend their knowledge to others and spread the good work being initiated by the First Lady Amai Mnangagwa.
The First Lady has been instrumental in empowering various communities through some of the work she has been doing across the country.
