ZANU PF successfully held its election campaign for the Kuwadzana Extension council seat ahead of the election slated for the 8th of February 2020.
Speaking at the rally Politburo member Cde Munyaradzi Machacha said the electorate must bear in mind that the ZANU PF Party walks the talk.
"The ZANU PF Party is a party that walks the talk. You have selected your candidate who will implement the things you want him to," Cde Machacha said.
"We are going for elections, reflect on how you have voted before and how it has only been empty promises. must be wise and vote for the winning team."
Cde Machacha encouraged the people not to lose hope as the future is bright.
"Many of you may have lost hope and are asking where the country is going. You look at the fuel queues and the constantly changing price hikes of commodities and wonder where the country is heading. Do not lose hope because the future is bright."
Cde Machacha asked the people to ponder on the experiences of the Israelites in the Bible and remember how those that persevered were able to see the promised land.
" The Minister of Finance Cde Mthuli Ncube has closed the loopholes and we have moved from a budget deficit to a surplus."
The ZANU PF candidate Cde Lloyd Makuwe will battle it out against MDC-A candidate Adonia Shoko.
