ZANU PF President Cde E.D Mnangagwa says the New Zimbabwe will be built by Zimbabweans.
This follows his tours this week which have witnessed Zimbabwean companies and individuals working tirelessly to build the Zimbabwe we all want.
President Mnangagwa this week commissioned the Mbano Manor Hotel in Victoria Falls which is owned by locals and being made competitive to world class standards for local and international tourists. This is despite the covid19 setback which has seen most economies reeling from its negative impact.
Tweeting about yesterday's tour President Mnangagwa said "Today, we commissioned the upgrading of the Beitbridge – Masvingo – Harare Road; a vital part of the North-South Corridor. Infrastructure is a key driver for progress and growth, trade and tourism," the President said.
"With skilled local workers leading the engineering, architecture and surveying, the new Zimbabwe is being built by Zimbabweans."
President Mnangagwa has always insisted that it can only be locals that can built the country into what they envisage it to be. True to this, many of them are coming on board in working towards the attainment of vision 2030 which will see better living conditions for all Zimbabweans.
