Yesterday, Hon. Albert Nguluvhe, Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution for Matabeleland South, handed over a new pick-up truck and solar equipment to Gwanda Agricultural and Rural Development Advisory Services (ARDAS), in a move set to bolster service delivery across the province.
The intervention is part of a nationwide initiative guided by the visionary leadership of His Excellency, President Emmerson Mnangagwa. All seven districts in Matabeleland South have now received a pick-up truck each, and every extension officer has been provided with a solar kit for their homestead along with airtime support.
“True to the President’s mantra of leaving no place and nobody behind, we want to thank the President,” said Hon. Nguluvhe.
“Every ward is going to be covered and supervision will be easily accomplished.”
Hon. Nguluvhe urged all recipients to make full use of the resources provided in order to strengthen agricultural support services and improve delivery to the people. The provision of solar kits ensures that officers remain connected and effective even in remote areas, reflecting Government’s ongoing commitment to inclusive and sustainable rural development.
