Recognizing the role of Johane the 5th of Africa International Church in the SADC region, Mozambique's Changara District Administrator, Cde Daniel Andichene has appealed for collaboration to promote peace, unity and development.
During a visit to the Tete Province church branch over the weekend, the Administrator expressed satisfaction at the way the church is helping to build that country.
"The Government counts on the J5 church as a partner in building a more just and harmonious society," he said.
Commenting on the developments, J5 Founder Archbishop Dr Andby Makururu said it is a good thing.
"This is what the Holy Spirit wants for the SADC region to do. The Holy Spirit wants the revolutionary Parties to work with the true church as many people will run to the church as they face numerous challenges in the last days. The Bible is clear that during the last days, many will suffer from diseases, hunger and poverty and that they will run to the church for relief and protection. If the ruling Parties come to the church where they will be protected and have longevity."
He added that, "These revolutionary Parties must also be wary of fake prophets who will pretend to be true yet they are working to destroy the country."
J5 has numerous branches dotted in Mozambique's Maputo, Tete, Manica Provinces amongst others.
The church Founder, Archbishop Dr Andby Makururu was instrumental in the FRELIMO's Presidential campaign which witnessed His Excellency, President Daniel Francisco Chapo being elected into office.
