The Road rehabilitation exercise being embarked on by Masvingo North Member of Parliament, Cde Brian Mudhumi is helping lessen the time spent by Constituents from one place to the other.
This was revealed through several interviews carried out by ZANU PF Information and Publicity Department in the Constituency.
Cde Mosturd Chingohwi said, "We want to thank Cde Brian Mudhumi for the work he is doing to rehabilitate the roads we are using to travel from one place to the other. The road to Harawe and to Mashonga are now better to use. The one to Boroma was terrible but there have been efforts to make sure its better. The travel fares had also increased because of the bad roads," he said.
"Having good roads is essential for us to take our produce timely to the markets. It also allows us to be able to access supplies timeously."
Cde Lizzy Maruvamba also thanked President Mnangagwa and Member of Parliament for the timeous distribution of the Presidential Input Scheme in time.
She added that the community is earning a "living through agriculture and this has helped reduce domestic violence cases which were rife. Our children are also learning to desist from drugs and substance abuse which we hear happening in other places, because they are occupied through these garden."
