President Mnangagwa has said the Second Republic under his leadership will never compromise on the country’s sovereignty.
Giving his keynote address at the ZANU PF National Consultative Assembly today at ZANU PF Headquaters,ZANU PF First Secretary and President Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa said potential investors that choose to work with Zimbabwe must respect that the nation has independent people and it is a sovereign country.
“It is pleasing that more investors are choosing to invest in our country. However, we will never compromise our sovereignty. Those who chose to work with us must respect that we are an independent people and sovereign country.
“We want win-win partnership that benefit our people. We say No to rider and horse type of investment relations. All investors are called upon to respect or laws, traditions and customs.
“Meanwhile, dialogue and mutually beneficial relations between our investors and communities should always be encouraged," said President Mnangagwa.President Mnangagwa also urged National Consultative members to remain aware that the primary responsibility build Zimbabwe rests on the Revolutionary Party in strengthening partnerships with other progressive countries to accelerate productivity
“I count on you members of the NCA as the fountain of wisdom and experience to guide our structures and ensure that the Party continues to achieve transformational results.
“While we remain aware that the primary responsibility to build our, rests on our shoulders we are also strengthening partnerships with other progressive countries to accelerate productivity as well as grow our economy. is “a friend to all and enemy to none".
"We must therefore focus on the work and year that lie ahead with great fortitude and determination. From the provincial level to the wards, we must challenge our people to develop concrete programmes of action for the realisation of Goals and objectives of NDS-2 and vision 2030," said President Mnangagwa.
