Development patterns evident of sound leadership: Cde Mpofu

By Staff Writer

The development patterns being registered in the country show His Excellency President E.D Mnangagwa's sound leadership, says an official.

ZANU PF Secretary General Cde Obert Mpofu said, "There are several road-works being carried out in and around the city of Harare in preparation for the SADC Summit in August. This is a welcome move as the city’s roads that had been neglected for long are about to get a new lease of life. Such projects are testament of His Excellency the President and First Secretary of ZANU PF, Cde Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa’s vision of turning Zimbabwe into an upper-middle-income economy by 2030 through massive infrastructural development initiatives, which are key to any meaningful economic growth. It is at this summit that His Excellency, the President, and First Secretary of ZANU PF, Cde Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa will assume the Chairmanship of SADC.

"Last week Thursday the 29th of February, His Excellency President Cde Dr E.D Mnangagwa distributed vehicles to some of our traditional Chiefs as part of efforts aimed at improving their dignity and conditions of service, given the important role they play in society.

"The 44th Independence Day Celebrations will be held in Murambinda, Manicaland Province. This is part of the new tradition introduced by H.E. Cde Dr. E.D Mnangagwa, which seeks to ensure that all provinces host important national events. This is in line with his policy of leaving no one and no place behind."
