Before the MDC was formed, Zimbabwe was a beautiful country. There were no sanctions. There was no black market rate. There was no political violence as much as we have seen after formation of MDC. There were no food shortages. Employment rate was high. There were no fuel queues. There was no load shedding. There were no potholes. Industry was functional. Air Zimbabwe was flying. We were exporting agricultural produce. We didn't need to use the US$. Health care was excellent. Our education system was good. There were no droughts as much as we have after the formation of MDC. Our relationship with the West was cordial.
