Chitepo School of Ideology Principal Cde Munyaradzi Machacha says they are impressed with the construction work done so far.

The school provides ideological training order to bridge the gap after the liberation struggle of Zimbabwe. 

Speaking about the school, Principal of the Chitepo School of Ideology Cde Munyaradzi Machacha said lectures at the College premises were likely to resume next year.

"We were looking at the progress on the construction of our school building, which will comprise of three floors. We were assured by the constructors that work will be completed by the end of December. This means we should take occupation January and thereafter start organizing courses that could happen in the first quarter of 2024," Cde Machacha said.

"Building will provide office accommodation for staff and lecture rooms with capacity to accommodate plus or minis 300 students at any given time. All the students will be day scholars since we haven't yet found boarding accommodation for those coming out of Harare."

Speaking on the work done at the site, the Principal of the College said, "we were impressed with the progress so far and with the quality of the work put into the project. We are satisfied it will create a conducive learning environment for our students."

Asked about the significance of the location of the learning institution, Cde Machacha said that the accessibility is key.

"It has to be accessible to all key pillars of the state which are the Executive, Legislature and Judiciary as it seeks to provide leadership and ideological direction starting right at the top of these key structures cascading downwards. We must bear in mind that Chitepo School is a heritage institution available for service to all Zimbabwe citizens from various sectors, institutions, and political parties. We, therefore, must be in a location that is easily accessible."
