The John Deere facility will supply US$51 million worth of farm equipment. This includes 1300 tractors, 80 combine harvesters, 200 disc harrows, 600 planters, 100 boom sprayers and 100 trailers. There are 2 phases to the facility. First phase is for US$20 million and Phase 2 is for US$31 million. Phase 1525 tractors, 40 combine harvesters, 200 disc harrows and planters.The tractors and related implements will be handed-over to banks (CBZ and Stanbic)for further on landing to beneficiaries. The combine harvesters will be strictly sold 2 per province.
