PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa has reminded members of the Politburo that the culture of the 2nd Republic was about servant leadership and had no room for armchair leaders.Speaking after the 333rd Ordinary Session of the Politburo, ZANU PF Secretary for Information and Publicity, Cde Simon Khaya Moyo, said the President had encouraged Politburo members to be visible and available at grassroots level.Cde Moyo said President Mnangagwa had given a strong warning to leaders who are hobnobbing with residual elements of the G40 cabal. And that President Mnangagwa had given feedback to the Politburo on the programmes he had undertaken since the last meeting.“In his report, President Mnangagwa told Politburo members that he had met a cross section of players in the economy from artisanal miners, local government officials and corporates.“The President also took time to explain the rationale behind his decision to create a ministry of Housing and Social Amenities.“The new ministry is in line with ZANU PF's People Manifesto that committed its government to providing affordable and quality housing for the people,” said Cde Moyo.Cde Moyo said the Politburo had also resolved to make the war veterans a wing of the party and that the reintroduction of District Coordinating Committees (DCCs) be incorporated in the Party’s constitution.However, Cde Moyo said the decision of the Politburo was subject to ratification by the Central Committee.
