Party mourns Col Mabuya

By Staff Writer

ZANU PF Policy and Coordinating meeting took a moment of silence for the late National Hero Colonel Rtd Ridzai Mabuya.

Speaking after the moment of silence, Secretary General Cde Obert Mpofu disclosed that ZANU PF had confered Hero status to the late Cadre.

"The Party took the decision to conference the National Hero status on the late Col. Rtd Ridzai Mabuya who died on the 22nd of January 2024, may his soul rest in eternal peace"

ZANU PF Spokesperson Ambassador Chris Mutsvangwa also took time to narrate the prowess of the late National Hero.

"We are grateful for the honor that was accorded Col Mabuya. He was of two minds whether he should go to Mozambique or Botswana but he ended up saying it is one war. He was one of the first people we met from the North East and when we met he was a senior commander and this was a relief for identification," Ambassador Mutsvangwa said.

"He was very instrumental in setting up the best security system that we used using the manuals from the KBG and with that we were able to see what the enemy was using. He was the man with a continuous history."
