His Excellency, President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa has signed the Book of Condolences for the late Former President of Zambia, Cde Edgar Lungu.

His Excellency had a brief meeting with the Zambian Ambassador before signing the Book of Condolences. 

President also took time to narrate fond memories on the history of his relationship with the late former President which includes studying at the same law school at the University of Zambia.

He said the region has lost an illustrious leader who was committed not only to the Zambians but to the region as a whole as he stood for development and collaboration between SADC countries. The President said his passing on is a huge loss to the region.
