ZANU PF First Secretary and President, His Excellency Cde Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, has warned against electoral fraud and manipulating the Party’s Constitution to suit ulterior motives.
This was revealed by the Secretary for Information and Publicity, Ambassador Christopher Mutsvangwa during a Press Briefing held at the Party headquarters this Thursday.
"The President received reports on Manicaland Province matters from Cde Chinamasa. Dorothy Mabika is not the new Chairperson. The status quo remains, Mrs Sacco is the Acting Chairperson of the Women's League," Ambassador Mutsvangwa said.
"There are people trying to short change the Constitution to suit their needs in the ZANU PF upcoming electoral Congress. The President warned against electoral fraud because ZANU PF believes in elections based on the principle of democratic centralism."
Cde Mutsvangwa also noted that co-options are now appearing as deployments of other people with ulterior motives. He added that the President wants the Party to be united.
