ZANU PF Secretary General Cde Obert Mpofu has commended the Presidium for the good work it is doing.

Speaking during the Policy and Coordinating meeting this Monday, Cde Mpofu said they are effortlessly working towards achieving the Party’s goals.

"His Excellency, the President and First Secretary Cde Dr E.D Mnangagwa last week announced that the implementation of the initiative to resolve the Gukurahundi issue has reached and advanced stage. To that end, the budget for the Gukurahundi Community Outreach Program has been confirmed and is now in place," Cde Mpofu said.

"Selected members of the National Council of Chiefs have been tasked by His Excellency Cde Dr E.D Mnangagwa to spearhead the process and as such 72 chiefs from Matabeleland North and South have been trained as part of preparations to begin the consultations. This is a reflection of the profound Nation building efforts which the Second Republic under His Excellency the President and First Secretary of our Party Cde Dr E.D Mnangagwa is effortlessly working towards in order to achieve Peace, Unity and Development.

"As part of Government’s efforts to conscientize the public on the importance of cleanliness and as part of the fight against cholera, our Honourable Vice President and Second Secretary, Rtd Col. Kembo Mohadi led a clean-up campaign in Harare on Saturday the 27th of January 2024."
