Chief Musarurwa says the Manhize DISCO Steel Industry is a national project as it brings together raw materials from beyond that region.

Speaking on the sidelines of a tour of the plant recently, Chief Musarurwa said they are happy as chiefs for this development.

"This project brings together Chief Chirumanzu, Chief Kareya, Chief Musarurwa, Chief Maromo and Chief Mashava amongst others because some other raw materials are brought here to aid in the production of the final product, it is therefore our project collectively. As a community we are happy about this development.

This developmental change has been brought to our place by the Second Republic and it is indeed true that the country is built by its own people."
