By Margaret Kamba In a political climb down US President Donald Trump has sought the expertise of the People's Republic of China on Corona virus following his own country's failure to combat the virus.Some weeks ago in a disgusting show of disrespect and racist tendency, Trump adamantly referred to the virus as a 'Chinese virus' echoing that this was because it came from the People's Republic of China PRC.The World Health Organization came out lashing at him and reminded him that the flue from North America in 2009 was never called a North American flue. WHO highlighted that this a time to show unity and join forces in combating the virus.Tweeting on his page Trump wrote "Just finished a very good conversation with President Xi of China. Discussed in great detail the Corona virus that is ravaging large parts of our Planet. China has been through much and has developed much understanding of the virus. We are working closely together. Much respect."This is a major climb down from Trump. Some weeks ago America bragged that it had found a cure to the virus only for them to realize that the mutation patterns were different from that of the virus. Social media reports then claimed that the PRC then tried fixing America by sending back to that country a much more developed virus so that the said cure would not work.True or not, no one knows but clearly Trump's conversation with President Xi is a sign of waning political clout for a man as arrogant as Trump.
