A three member delegation from Chama Chama Pinduzi has come into the country to learn from ZANU PF leadership sustainability.
The delegation comprising Hon. Rabia Abdalla Hamid - NEC Secretary for Political Affairs and International Relations and Member of the Central Committee, Cde. Leah Donald Mbeke - Head of Monitoring the Implementation of the CCM Election Manifesto and Social Policies, Department of Political Affairs and International Relations and Cde. Dorit Eliapendo Glorious - Assistant Secretary for Political Affairs and International Relations flew in this afternoon to also share their experiences and strengthen ties between the two sister Parties.
Speaking from the Robert Mugabe International Airport, Cde Hamid said there's so much to learn from Zimbabwe's ruling Party.
"We are here to rejuvenate our relationship with ZANU PF because we have been sisters and brothers for years. We have been united for our motive of liberating our countries. Our countries are liberal and the motive is still there," Cde Hamid said.
"We are committed to keeping our relationship strong and to learn between each other. We have come to learn from ZANU PF and for us to share how and what we do in CCM, Tanzania.
"Tanzania has always been a country that has believed in freeing Africa. Tanzania has been a country that has always extended hands to our brothers, and so the doors of our brothers got opened.
"CCM believes that ZANU PF is a Party that came with the history of liberating this country and its people. So we have come to learn more about their sustainability because they have sustained in leadership perfectly well, so we have come to learn and us to exchange our experiences."
Cde Hamid expressed her gratitude to CCM's Chairperson, Her Excellency, Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan who initiated the visit and to the Secretary General Cde Emmanuel Nchimbi whom she said send regards to the people of Zimbabwe and ZANU PF.
