We must never guide our Party towards personal interests says President Mnangagwa.

ZANU PF First Secretary and President Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa has urged the Party’s principal decision-making body the Central Committee to lead by example and desist from guiding the Party towards personal interests.

Giving his opening remarks at the Central Committee meeting at ZANU PF Headquarters today , President Mnangagwa said the Central Committee must give guidance that propels the people’s revolution as well as the national aspirations and goals without fear or favour.

“I implore the central committee ,as the principal decision making body to continue superintending over the Party.

“Let us give guidance that propels our people’s revolution, as well as the national aspirations and goals without fear or favour. We are national leaders ,our discussion and focus must primarily center around our communities as well as those at grassroots level.

“Let us ,as we begin programmes for the last half of the year ,recommit ourselves to unflinchingly serve our Party,with loyalty and patriotism at all times.Hatidi gumbo mumba gumbo panze .Tinotevedzera gwara remusangano ,kwete zvido zvedu.We must never guide our Party towards personal or clique interests.All our activities and directives must always be guided by our Party constitustion ,rules and procedures,”said President Mnangagwa.

President Mnangagwa also reiterated that members of the Central Committee must exercise the highest levels of integrity ,discipline and honour .

“As members of the Central Committee, the highest levels of integrity ,discipline and honour are expected of us. When examined ,let us all be found worthy of holding the highest level of leadership in our Party. Unity ,Unity,Unity.Lets us lead by example ,by what we preach and what we do," said President Mnangagwa.

President Mnangagwa also said the Party must continue to push in one direction towards one national vision.

“Shoulder to shoulder ,side by side ,let us continue to push in one direction, towards one national vision ,Vision 2030.Victory is certain, "said President Mnangagwa.
