The Communist Party of China CPC has paid a courtesy call on ZANU PF as part of its efforts to further cooperation between the two Parties.

Speaking during the meeting held at the Party headquarters, CPC's Head of Delegation Cde YAO Jianguo Deputy Director General of the CPC Center for International Exchanges (CPC-CIE), IDCPC said it is imperative that the two Parties be vigilant looking at the risks and challenges currently available.

"CPC and ZANU PF are all weather friends and in recent years President Xi and President Mnangagwa have met in order to further strengthen the relationship between the two countries. We are here to engage more because of this. We are facing turbulent times and seeing more risks and challenges aimed at harming the interests of developing countries," he said.

"Our position is to safeguard our interests and that of the international world. We need more friends to stand together and fight. CPC and ZANU PF have the same goals to help realize the modernisation of our countries."

Speaking during the same meeting, ZANU PF National Political Commissar Cde Munyaradzi Machacha said the problems currently bedevilling America should be taken advantage of in order to build a new world order.

"We are inspired by your visit and words which openly and strongly exposed the environment we find ourselves in where America think they can survive on their own. America has isolated themselves from the world. It's era of dominance is fast coming to an end. We are happy that Trump is making global mistakes which we must take advantage of to design a new world order. We are together and must strengthen our Party to Party relations and country to country relations. ZANU PF will continue to deliver on its promises to the people of Zimbabwe."
