ZANU PF Women’s League attends 50th anniversary of OMA

In a move aimed at celebrating the role of women in the attainment of independence, various women organizations including ZANU PF Women’s League are attending the 50th anniversary of the Angolan Organisation of Women.


The anniversary is being held under the theme "Women crossing Borders: Their Stories and Dreams."


The online virtual meeting has brought together the women to also consolidate peace and look at the social and economic development of African countries.


The women have been debating on women's empowerment and participation in power environments, highlighting the challenges, opportunities and achievements to inspire the new generation.


ZANU PF Secretary for External Relations in the Women’s League Cde Betty Nhambu Kaseke is attending the meeting along with Women’s League Cdes Caroline Tsitsi Mugabe (Secretary for Finance), Maidei Mpala (Secretary for Production) ,Juliet Hungoidza (Deputy Secretary Administration) and Nguva Rushwaya Deputy Director.
