Zimbabwe unite

By Staff Writer

Murehwa based up and coming artist Rumbidzai Mabvuu says his debut single "Zimbabwe Unite" was inspired by the President of Zimbabwe.

Speaking during an interview, Mabvuu whose interest in music began at a tender age, said, despite facing financial challenges to ensure his project came to light, will continue to do other projects.

"I started this project in 2015 and I was inspired by the words from our President Cde E.D Mnangagwa who preaches unity and the need to build our country," he said.

"If you listen to the lyrics of my song, you can see that it calls upon all people of Zimbabwe to unite and build Zimbabwe. It encourages peace in the country as it is intended for all Zimbabweans."

The first with such a talent in his family, Mabvuu says things being equal, more projects would be done.

"There are so many challenges among them finances and lack of exposure but because you are determined, you stay strong."
